An Easy Request followed by an Ode
To a Grecian Worm. Thank you for your input on a current project.
Greetings!
I could use your help with a project.
I’m currently writing a series of Medium posts about ways writers can use the artful and crafty practice of SoulCollage® to delve deeper into their characters, their stories, and their selves.
I’m thrilled with how it’s going and the response I’m getting.
In the meantime, I’m casting an eye toward what my next series might be. A series I might publish as an e-book the way I did my Bucket Listers: Get Your Brave on.
That’s where YOU come in.
Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to fill out this simple, multiple-choice survey:
Thank you!
And now, as promised:
Ode to a Grecian Worm
In all her foul-fated, hook-baited glory
Thou still unravish’d bride of sliminess,
Thou foster-child of silence and slithering,
Sylvan gastro-intestine, what canst thou express
A flippant tale more completely than your dithering:
What leaf-chomp’d legend haunts about thy mouth
Be they gods or fishermen, or both,
In Tempe or sailors heading out to sea?
What foul adversary are these? What enemies loth?
That mad pursuit! What futile struggle to escape!
No matter their haughty culture, you’ll wind up as bait!
